The 33rd Annual Falling Leaves Festival has something for everyone! Our traditional Arts & Crafts show has expanded with lots of new vendors! Also growing in size is the ever popular car show. New to the festival this year is an outdoorsman show featuring snowmobiles, ATVs, camping equipment, "must haves" for the hunter and fisherman, archery, and so much more! The kids and teens will have plenty of fun on the crazy amusement rides. The Grande Parade is sure to be enjoyed by boys and girls of all ages! The weekend is also filled with lots of musical entertainment and various contests along with your favorite tasty festival treats! Don't miss out on this fun-filled weekend!

The Village of Williamsville, Williamsville Business Association and Town of Amherst are holding the first of what will become an annual Art Festival at Glen Park on Saturday July 31 and Sunday August 1. The Festival will take place at one of the area’s true land mark parks and will highlight some of the areas greatest cultural assets. It’s a great opportunity for all artists. There is a $100 Booth Fee and a $10 application fee associated with the festival.

Learn more about plants, or discover the artist in you by drawing your favorite botanical subject at a 2-day botanical drawing and painting workshop February 6, 2010 (9am-4pm) and February 13, 2010 (10am-5pm) to be held in the Library’s Media Room at the Batavia Campus, featuring artist Camille Doucet (on Feb 13). Sketch a live plant in the library or bring your own plant or picture. Funded in part by GCC's President's Innovation Award (PIA) Program, the workshop is open to all residents of Genesee, Livingston, Orleans, and Wyoming counties, 16 years of age and older, on a first-come, first-served basis. All artistic backgrounds and abilities are welcome. Space is limited to 15 seats and there is a required $20 materials fee. De CaDEnce A Celebration of Movement & Rhythms In A New Decade Using their fiber palette, the Rochester Area Fiber Artists (RAFA), return to the Art & Cultural Council of Rochester. This is an event held in honor of Kathleen Hogan, who was diagnosed with Leukemia at the age of 27 on January 29, 2009. She has been winning her fight ever since and would like to start a non-profit organization to give back to Roswell Park Cancer Institute and other programs for cancer patients. We are looking for donations of artwork for an art auction that we will have at this event! We are looking for artists interested in donating to this event!
